Ending June with a bang.

For the last weekend of June we have Friday Night Magic, a Pathfinder Society game starting, and a Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament. We are also accepting donations for Care and Share in support of the Waldo Canyon Fire. As usual you can find details for these and many other events on our Facebook page and on the calender of events.

Dungeons and Dragons: Dungeon Master’s Keep GM Screen.

Just arriving today is the Ultimate DM’s Screen, the Dungeon Master’s Keep.  The two towers near the center are dice towers, one rolling towards the player and the other to the DM. There is also trays for tokens and dice, and shelves for figures. This is the screen for the serious DM.

Dragons and Dragoons RPGs

Hey everybody! Looking for a place to come and play your favorite Roleplaying Games? Look no further, Dragons and Dragoons has got you covered!

We love RPGs here as much as the next guy, and between us is a staggering amount of RPG experience. Today I’ll be showcasing two of our favorites, but anyone who wants to can come in and play whatever game they want.

First off is Pathfinder. This one’s our house favorite right now.

Pathfinder Rule Books

Pathfinder is basically D&D 3.5, but improved. Many of the classes have been changed to be both more balanced AND more interesting, so there’s a whole lot more fun all around. Also, should your Game Master allow it, it’s even compatible with all 3.5 extended content. Just be careful when including some of that in your game… it can make things crazy. Like I said, either consult your GM or be a responsible GM/Player and use your best judgment.
Anyways, we here love Pathfinder. We’ve got our own game going and we would love for customers to start their own games too.

Second, is D&D 4.0

I’m gonna be honest, we’re new to this one too. A lot of people don’t particularly like it (hence Pathfinder, based on D&D 3.5). However, this game is great for newcomers. The rules are simplified and streamlined, so character creation is a snap! Now you can get going on your first session and not spend the whole time writing down all your numbers. We hope to have a store attendant well versed in this game as soon as possible, so chances are within a few weeks we’ll be good to go.

In the meantime, if you already play, feel free to come on in and host your game here! We have space and all are welcome!
