We were excited when a customer brought in this awesomely painted Forge World Brass Scorpion. Jason Mace finished his hard work and brought it in to show off. He used an airbrush to get the effects on the armor plates. When he started the detail, more started showing up. In the end, it was 70 hours worth of work. We look forward to seeing more pieces from our customers in the future.
The newest set for Magic the Gathering is available to purchase today. With the release, the 2012 Core set and Scars of Mirrodin block rotate out and are no longer standard legal. But not to worry, there are plenty of new and exciting things in the new set. The first 5 of the 10 guilds in Ravnica are back, along with shock lands. We are also getting a couple of new planeswalkers. Varaska, the Unseen and a new version of Jace will mix things up a bit. Check out all of the release events in the Calendar of Events section.
The Imperium faced off against Chaos Space Marines and Necrons in an attempt to hold the city. There were 5 objectives important to the city. Each side brought a Warlord Titan to the fight. The Imperial Guard auto-cannons brought down the void shields on the Chaos Warlord Titan, giving the Imperium’s Titan an opening to destroy it. The Imperial Guard troops put up a good fight against the Necron horde. The Chaos Hell Talon was shot out of the air, but dealt some damage on it’s way down by crashing into the unit that took it out. In the end, the Imperium was able to claim 3 out of the 5 objectives, winning the game. Check the Calendar of Events to see when the next Apocolypse game will be held.

Every issue will contain a little something extra. The price will increase by just $1. Don’t miss the October 2012 issue, available September 22nd.
